new zealand dharma celebration

Free Your Mind
21 – 24 April, 2017

Every year practitioners from Aotearoa/NZ and beyond gather together for this special event, to receive practical, inspiring teachings and meet spiritual friends. Whether new to Buddhism or an experienced practitioner, everyone is welcome to this extended weekend celebration, which provides a great opportunity to take time out of the hurly-burly of life and really savour the teachings and ceremonies.

This year the celebration will be held at the Brookfield Outdoor Education Centre, in Wainuiomata (pictured left) - a really beautiful place to escape to!

If you are interested in finding out more, or perhaps going to the celebration; you can go to this page: http://nzdharmacelebration.org/; or talk with our resident teacher Gen Kelsang Demo.

The 2017 festival will be held from 30 Dec 2016 – 3 Jan 2017 and you can find out more at this website: http://www.australasianfestival.org/

* Demo took the picture to the right at last year's celebration: this is the view from the temple. Pretty stunning really!
