Regular meditation classes in Masterton with Buddhist lay teacher David Wallace.
David Wallace, from Amitabha Centre leads the drop-in meditation class in Masterton at Reap House, Queen St, Masterton, on Monday nights 7.00 -8.30 pm
The class includes guided meditations, teachings, discussion and the chance to stay for refreshments afterwards. The suggested donation is $12 per class or $40 for four sessions.
Masterton class annual winter break runs from 5 July until 9 August.

- Meditations for Daily Living
Reap House Masterton 7.00 - 8.30pm
The practice of meditation is very extensive. Gen Demo will explain how we can hold peace of mind and engage in meditation while we are going about our normal day to day activities. Everyone is welcome. There is a warm welcome to those who have not taken part in a meditation class before.
Regular term 2 classes with David Wallace begin 23 August and will be based on How to Solve Our Human Problems by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
In these classes, we shall consider how in this busy world, our experiences of happiness are fleeting and short-lived, while inner peace eludes us completely. Our negative states of mind, such as uncontrolled desire and anger, create endelss problems for ourselves and others and prevent us from fulfilling our deepest wishes. The teachings and meditations will be of a practical nature with direct application to daily life.
