vajrasattva purification retreat, palmerston north, may 27

vajraretreat

Vajrasattva is the Buddha who embodies the power of the Buddhas to help us purify our minds. This retreat gives us the opportunity to extend our understanding of purification; and deepen our connection with, and reliance on, the blessings of the Buddhas.

Each year we engage in a short purification retreat. On retreat we take ourselves away from regular activities and concentrate on our spiritual development.

This retreat helps cleanse our mind of delusions, negativities, and obstacles holding us back from reaching our full inner potential. Through purifying our negativity our mind gradually becomes happier, our good qualities increase and our bad habits, mental and physical problems gradually disappear.

The sessions will be guided Gen Kelsang Demo with some explanation and beautiful chanted prayers.

Note:

If you have not previously attended a retreat such as this you are welcome to come along and try it out. It is a very peaceful experience.
