Drop-in classes
Weekly meditation classes are suitable for anyone interested in learning how to calm their minds through meditation and to live a happier life using the Buddha's teachings on inner peace and creating a meaningful life
Each class is self contained but focused around themes from Buddha's teachings such as:
- how to overcome disturbing and painful habits of mind
- meditations for a loving heart
- meditations for challenging times
- how to turn difficulties into opportunities for spiritual growth.
The classes also benefit people who already have a meditation practice and knowledge of Buddhism
The topics studied are part of the General Study Programme (GP) developed by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso to make Buddhism accessible to people from Western cultures
