At this point in time, many of us are probably more aware than ever of how uncertain and fragile life can be. We are currently facing so many problems in this world (‘unprecedented’ seems to be the word of the moment), and for so many people these are indeed anxious times.
If we are to successfully navigate the difficulties that we face, we need inner strength, peaceful minds, compassionate hearts - and wisdom to guide us.
One thousand years ago, the great Indian Buddhist Master Atisha was instrumental in reviving pure Buddhism in Tibet. When he was about to return to India, he gave he gave his followers very special advice for a healthy, positive life. His words encapsulated his most heartfelt teachings, and the guidance he offers is succinct, down-to-earth, clear and practical – and just as relevant today, as it was so long ago.
These teachings are packed with practical suggestions that helps us transform our ordinary daily life into a joyful path to deep inner peace. This inner peace is the best way to help ourselves and others.
In this Sunday course, we will explore ‘Advice from Atisha’s Heart’, spiritual advice that is easy to remember and to apply when faced with challenges at work, at home, or even when relaxing.
Everybody is welcome, and the course is suitable for all levels of experience.
