This is for those who would like to ‘step up” and deepen their study and application of Buddhist practice. It is also a great way to participate at a deeper level in the Amitabha community.

The Foundation Programme is held weekly at Amitabha Kadampa Buddhist Centre, 174 Albert St; Palmerston North on Tuesday evenings from 6.30- 9.00pm.

For those who are distant from Palmerston North, a correspondence programme is available  of recordings of the classes via our home study website .

Our current study is Joyful Path of Good Fortune by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, a study of the Lamrim presentation stages of the Buddhist path to enlightenment.

You are most welcome to contact Gen Demo at Ph 06 355 3524 or email  if you are interested in joining and would like more information.

We all have the potential for self-transformation, and a limitless capacity for the growth of good qualities, but to fulfil this potential we need to know what to do at every stage of our spiritual journey. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

Joyful Path of Good Fortune offers step by step guidance on the meditation practices that lead us to lasting peace and happiness. This is a perfect guidebook to the Buddhist path.JPGF

As this is a programme of systematic study and discussion, students need to be willing to commit to regular attendance and home study.

It is possible to join at any time.

You are most welcome to call Demo Ph 06 355 3524 or email  to find out more or to arrange to come along to a class to see if this is for you.
