making relationships work: using meditation to transform relationships.
We are happy to let you know that our National Spiritual Director, Gen Kelsang Rabten, is visiting Palmerston North after the NZ Dharma Celebration - and we are very pleased to invite you to a free public talk at Te Manawa Art Gallery on Thursday, April 9, from 7.00pm - 9.00pm.
Those of you have heard Gen Rabten speak in past years will know that he is a truly inspiring teacher. He has a deep knowledge and understanding of Buddhist teachings and is able to present these in a way that is easy to understand, interesting, and relevant (and enjoyable). He is really skilful at helping us make a personal connection with Buddhist teachings, so that we can apply them to everyday life in practical and achievable ways.
So - this is not an event to miss out on - A special chance to learn more how meditation can help you nurture and sustain peaceful and positive relationships with others.
We look forward to seeing you at Te Manawa.
Gen Kelsang Rabten is the NKT (New Kadampa Tradition) National Spiritual Director for New Zealand and Australia. He is currently living in Hong Kong as the Resident Teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Centre Hong.
