We all wish for world peace, but world peace will never be achieved unless we first establish peace within our own minds.

Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

At times, moments of peace and happiness seem very fleeting and fragile. War and conflict, poverty, injustice and pain are very much part of the wider world that we live in. And all of us face problems and difficulties in our personal lives. In these classes, we work to develop our own sense of inner peace, and with compassion pray that all living beings will experience peaceful, happy and meaningful lives.

These prayers and meditations help us develop our own potential to contribute to the world around us with compassion and kindness.

This is a family friendly class and everyone is welcome. There is no charge.

Prayers for World Peace will generally be held weekly, unless there is another special event in Palmerston North on that day (see calendar for specific details).
