amitabha summer retreat – the lamrin: meditations to make our life happy and meaningful, dec 27 – jan 3, mangaweka

meditations to make our life happy and meaningful

Since 2005, our annual summer retreat has been a restorative and peaceful time. It is a time to engage in a guided retreat in a tranquil place,  in an unhurried, relaxed and sincere way.
This summer,  students of Gen Kelsang Demo will guide our training in the contemplations and meditations taught in The New Meditation Handbook.
Suitable for all levels from beginners to experienced meditators, this is a perfect opportunity to deepen your meditation practice with particular emphasis on how to integrate these meditations into your daily life.

This year’s venue is Kawhatau Outdoor Education Trust Centre, a former country school which is located in the Kawhatau Valley near Mangaweka.

A fully self-contained facility, it has small shared dormitory rooms and camp sites.

The surroundings include a stream, some bush and the Rangitikei River across the road
