Just as it is necessary to wash our body of dirt, it is even more important to cleanse our mind of negativity and delusions. It is our quality of mind that determines whether we are happy or unhappy, but our delusions make it difficult to achieve lasting peace of mind.
Buddha Vajrasattva embodies the power of the Buddhas to purify the negativities that we have accumulated as a result of past actions, and receiving the blessings of Vajrasattva is a powerful way to help us achieve a clear, pure and peaceful mind
Gen Kelsang Demo will grant the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva and explain how we can remove negativities and obstacles from our mind.
In Modern Buddhism, Geshe Kelsang says, ‘Purification is the supreme method to prevent future suffering and to remove obstacles to our Dharma practice. It makes our actions pure so that we ourselves become pure.’
Everyone is welcome. If you have not had an empowerment before, this is a perfect opportunity to get a taste of the beauty and peace that is involved in formal Buddhist ceremonies.
