why be unhappy? sunday, march 24, 10am – 1pm, palmerston north

Sometimes life's difficulties and problems can be challenging. We can feel angry or miserable when things go wrong: and these feelings just make a bad situation worse. In actual fact, if we were to respond to difficult situations with a positive and peaceful mind, we'd find that we could stay happy all the time, no matter what challenges life was throwing in our direction.

In this half-day course, Gen Kelsang Demo will talk about some very practical ways that help us change the way we respond to 'the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune', so that we are able to take a more positive and realistic approach that brings us energy and joy, rather than unhappiness and/or anger

If something can be remedied
Why be unhappy about it?
And if there is no remedy for it,
There is still no point in being unhappy
